After two routers, hundreds of dollars, countless hours of installation and configuring, i have finally managed to get a network up and running.

The downside is that it only worked for 10mins then died again.
But on the brightside, I can always contact tech support in the next day.

That's besides the point though. The point is that technology can be a blessing as well as a nightmare. It's like a relationship really. They're so amazing and filled with wonders when it's working and you''re all connected and communicating well, then it's a nightmare when you hardly understand each other and are distances apart.

I suppose we can learn a bit from networking and routers.
When you connect everything directly, it runs smoothly, yet when you try to have an arbitrator, e.g. router or get a wireless connection going, it turns to goo! But if you configure IP addresses right then you'll get it up and running. However, if you don't know what the configurations are then you'll have some trouble. A lesson in which we can apply to life. :)

cheers
If only they had tech support for relationships hehe.
