What's up in K-ville?

Hmm! Keeping a blog... I'm not sure why anymore. It use to be to keep my friends and ex-lover up to date with my Australian adventures...But it's hardly a great big new experience anymore, I've been here a year, same old same old... :) Myspace is much more interesting. You get to interact with lots of ppl that you dont know - that could well be stalkers, but I suppose as long as they dont know where you live, it's perfectly safe. But then I still feel compelled to write something.... even if it were in false hope that someone might read it and benefit out of it. I always seem to benefit out of random readings of content sprawled across the web.

So what's up in Melbourne? Currently the city is buzzing with Tennis Fanatics because of the melbourne cup...There was a riot today between Croatian and Serbian fans. Last Saturday, there was a riot at Noble Park after a bunch of ppl gathered to watch boyracing. They had smashed all the equipment at the local blockbuster video store, stole lots of videos and smashed and burnt the building including the near-by bus stop (poor bus stop :( )So unaware. Anyway, it's a pretty messed up place. I catch the train there everyday, and when I get off, I always see police people escorting younglings away. The whole set up of the main area square is an invitation for disaster.

It's really strange how some places in melbourne is divided but at the same time it's good. unlike having all the rich ppl on one side, everyone seems to mix and mingle. There's classy estates as well as old flats etc in the same area. This is probably why on the whole everyone is so nice and inviting... no snobbery as such.

The week after next, I'm going to NZ for parachute and celebrating my 21st... Hoorah! Finally get to be an adult. :) I lost my ticket, as I always do... but luckily for the techno revolution they have booking ref nos... no need for tickets. It's only passports which are the problem. i was going to go to Stefan/jo's wedding but as unlucky as I was at the time, i put the passport in with drinks and all sorts in my bag...damaging it... making it unusable. So I couldnt go :( If only NZ and Australia were joined together.

Well that's enough rabbiting for now. I'm sure more interesting things for happen tomorrow.
